Dr Linda Morris is an Associate Dean in the School of Learning and Teaching within the College of Life Sciences. After having children, Linda initially planned to go back to her studies to become a school teacher. She gained undergraduate and Masters degrees in Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry and then a PhD in Organic Chemistry. However, after working as a part-time Lecturer during her PhD and Postdoc she decided that teaching within the University system would be an ideal position.
Linda enjoys the pastoral side of her work and has won many awards for her teaching including the Chancellor's Award for Lifetime Contribution to Teaching in 2012.
