Kate Storey is the Professor of Neural Development and Head of the Division of Cell and Developmental Biology within the College of Life Sciences. In addition to researching neural differentiation in embryos and embryonic stem cells, Kate Storey also lectures.
Kate is known internationally both for her science and for the touring fashion exhibition "Primitive Streak" which she created with her sister, the fashion designer, Helen Storey. The exhibition evokes and illustrates key events in human embryonic development, from fertilisation to the appearance of recognisable human form.
